Saw Zombieland with
ashears yesterday. It was actually way more hilarious than I thought it was going to be, and a good movie about finding family besides. There honestly wasn't all that much zombie action in the movie, now that I think about it; the four characters in the film were all acclimated to the reality of 'OMG zombies,' so the typical zombie movie path of how do we survive now that dead people are walking around didn't really apply. Also, Woody Harrelson is clearly having a great time.
Of course, this got my brain thinking in zombie mode, and that coupled with one of the trailers before the movie gave me another great idea for a film that would never, ever get made.
So, according to the bible Lazarus was the first person to be brought back from the dead, followed shortly by Jesus. According to the rapture folks, when Jesus arrives on earth again, the dead in christ shall be ressurected, given flesh again and go to heaven. Then, the war on earth with the forces of satan.
So Lazarus was Jesus's test of his ability to make zombies. He raised himself as a zombie and is waiting to return.
The zombie apocalypse is actually the second coming of Jesus, and zombies are the soldiers of God on earth.
Zombies have no free will, they attack anything that's not already a zombie, and they convert those they don't destroy.
People fighting against zombies are unknowingly fighting God. If you follow Satan you can continue as you are, to accept God means you accept becoming a zombie.
Goddamn I would LOVE to make that movie. But it would never, ever be accepted in this damn country.
