Until Dawn

Mar 06, 2010 01:24

Straight razor blades and crystals
at the edge of the world
twinkle like tearing eyes
that have seen and felt
the emptiness.
Blazing triumph and fire -
a sky bejewelled
and blurred through curtains
of purgatorial thought.
Fate and free will intertwined
like lost lovers
or grapes on the vine,
and on it shines -
scattered diamonds
on an absent line
trying to pass the time

Until dawn breaks
with refreshing audacity
and blankets the secrets
of the heavens above;
the secrets of diamonds and treason and love
