It's Teacher Appreciation Week!
I am making out like a bandit at work this week - Lunch is provided every day, we had free espresso drinks in the staff room this morning, and I won a gift certificate to Lola in a raffle this morning. I'm liking this.
I also got garden flowers from one student, and a box of Runts from another - and I like the flowers and candy more than the gift card, I have to admit.
I cleaned the entire apartment this weekend while Sarah was out of town, and it looks fantastic. We've been looking at houses online, and thinking about buying a house. So far, a few look interesting, but we're not moving forward until we've looked more and talked to some people.
