Good 12 years ago I was about to make a bet with my university mates - could I ride to my dacha in 15 hours? Sounds silly now because it's 200 kms but back then it was not about Tarmac or Cube or even Merida, it was about 3-speed USSR-made road bike named Jupiter or Saturn or Sputnik, doesn't matter, with pushing pedals of course. And about the guy who'd barely done 30 kms in one day.
Now I am about to fulfill the dream. Yes, I never cycled there all these years and was there just 3 times in last 7 years, today will be 4th - the most Specialized of all.
How? - asking you seeing my Cube with packed rack and ready to go.
Because it's not about where you go and even how you go - it's about with whom you go.
Poor Tarmac (assembling started right after we first met), but I have to admit - she is more Specialized. Hope you understand, my carbon friend. Glad you hanged out with her Stels well.
I have a dream, as you may know ("to have" is the worst verb here though).
No comparison, of course, because both She are one of a kind. One of THE kind.
Since 19.05 things are thriving and flourishing, most times over my dreams, some times - well over.
Programmer, cyclist, individualist, perfectionist, self-made and much more.
Don't blame me if this post will appear to be the first and the last about her. Suddenly I had stopped to analyze and started to cherish each moment, like it was written on the old wallpaper by my love in XX century. All those and many more stories are gone - the tag was renamed as you could note. No more wallpapers, postcards, teddybears. Just a t-shirt with one word, black on white:
