i taught pretty much all 3 of my classes today. hurray! my voice is so sore from so much talking.
then i had a 1 hour EQAO meeting. jesus.
i love my students. they are brilliant. People give ESL students a bad rep. And they give my school an even worse rep. so unnecessary.
it just goes to show that people are still horribly racist because they say that "ethnics make poor students, and it must be a rough area eh?"
go fuck yourself.
i'm coming to realize how priviledged i am to be "white", and all the things that are inheritantly given to me, without my acknowledgement. i see this more and more each day.
that's just an update on my life. i love teaching, school is overwhelming and i'm busier than i've ever been in my undergrad. my presentations have been going super well and i get to inform 50 other pre-service teachers about adaptive technology and Cerebral palsy etc. go me.
and i'm graduating from brock this saturday. then i'm partying.
i need more friends in burlington.
