Musically Challenged
Dear all,
The day that was 20th February 2005 is to be remembered as one to forget! Playing at church on an empty stomach with a foreign guitar, a faulty guitar jack equals much humiliation and randoms noise to come frome the guitarist. One could hardly call this person a guitarist actually, perhaps a jester would have been more fitting...
Enough whining!
It did cut down my pride by a few notches however, as God showed me tonight that if things go pearshaped musically or otherwise if I had relied on myself I would have chucked a temper tantrum on stage. Yet calm was restored thanks to quick prayer and some an acknowledgement that God was in control even when things seemed out of control.
Well, perhaps it's not a day to be forgotten after all...
