Weekend.
One of the many highlights of this weekend would have to be Jenny (a friend from Campus Bible Ministry @ UWS Penrith), and the highlight of that would have to be her father delivering an emotional speech before the cake cutting. Mr. Carson-Drever intimately shared with us Jenny's upbringing and many hilarious stories which they had acumulated through the 21 years of her life.
Perhaps what moved me was the amount of love that they had in that family, they are a tight Christian unit earmarked with sacrifice for one another, care for the wellbeing of one another, and many more attributes that I fail to think of at this moment. It was an encouragement for me to be a loving father in future years so that my kids might have every chance to thrive in their life.

After church, it was great just to hang around with friends and wind down with a no stakes card game, I dearly miss the summertime after-church socialising and I am very glad that it's starting back up.

It will be a bittersweet couple of weeks from here on until the end of the year, everyone will miss Will's departure from our congregation and whilst it is a great opportunity for him, he has certainly been a great asset to QHAC, cya Will.
Also the wedding of our beloved Lorien to the dashing young fellow by the name of Ben is imminent, certainly a time for much celebration, but Lorien, we'll be sad to see you go :) tears will be ejected by many a person on the day of your nuptials.
