"4 assignments in 3 weeks??!"
--- Top to base measurement of mouth 27.5cm ---
"You've got to be kidding me!" he exclaims.
I've been a bit down this week, partially due to the mentioned flu, but the reason can also be attributed to the many mountains of words I have to conjure up to satisfy the appetite of tutors and lecturers. I am not looking forward to it one bit, watch the features of my face drag southward as the next few weeks progress. I am too daunted by the task, perhaps I should focus on one essay at a time. <--- A prayer point and a half!
Enough whining, on the bright side of things, Floriade will be spectacular, I've got to remember that Jess wants a new wallpaper for her work compy (don't worry Jess, both my camera's are going to get a workout). I am looking forward to the long drive down. I've always been intrigued by the Hume Highway, I still remember a row of thin trees that line both sides of the highway as we draw near to the Federal Highway, they are so uncanny in the sense that they appear to be plomped there for no apparent reason.
Another interesting story that a trip down south reminds me of is one from my childhood; as dad drove along in the yellow Mitso Sigma, I would use whatever I could find to get very comfortable in the backseat, in fact, I made the whole back row into a sort of makeshift cubbyhouse for my own amusement and enjoyment e.g. my jacket would be used as a curtain on one of the rear windows. (No surprises then that I was a lonely kid when I was growing up). Good memories... this season of nostalgia was brought to you by the friend Lorien, who posted on her Bahrain experiences.
