More stuff
Okay, I've put up about two dozen games for sale, though at not exactly fire sale prices. Partially, because I may want to replace some of 'em, and secondly, boardgames are ludicrously expensive in Australia, so I may be able to make a tidy sum auctioning them off and then delivering to the land down under.
But if feels good to know that I can live without them for awhile.
Another friend is leaving the Uni and he's clearing out all his CD's and books, and I've picked up a stack of each. Nothing too terrible. In fact, I'm "busy" burning the CD's that I took.
Some interesting early ska and reggae compilations (the kind I actually like a bit of now and then).
Some classic jazz stuff like Miles Davis Kind of Blue
James Brown's Say it Loud
The Police and the Band's Greatest Hits
Technotronic's Pump up the Jam
A Robert Johnson collection....
That kind of stuff.
And a half dozen books that I won't be able to read...but looked too good not to own for a bit, and which I'll feel good at passing on to others as well (the books were just going to get recycled.
Went for a late night hike last night with a friend last night and felt very satisfied after a day of planning for the future in a hot, humid apt.
May walk again tonight.
