The evening show was almost exactly the same (imagine that :P)... I did notice Anthony run across the stage and goose Nicolette during La Vie Boheme B, which I didn't see in the afternoon... Who knows though, he might have done it... Adam's hair is almost yellow under those lights... Adam and Anthony are really touchy-feely with each other and the other cast members too (interesting, considering it was only the end of the second week, but they had worked with a lot of them on their return to the broadway version).
They did the two bows, and this time I booked it to the stage door... There was still a crowd in front of me, so I figured I would just watch, Anthony came out, Nicolette came out, Lexi came out and then.... Gwen came out and I HAD to try to get her autograph... I tried, but I couldn't get close enough, none of the people at the front would move... She is really beautiful in person though.... And REALLY nice, she even took a card for Adam from one of the fans.
So then I made a dash for the border... I was crazy enough to leave in the middle of a snowstorm... I got through the border, and then I had to face Fort Erie in the dark with snow covered roads... But I went slow, and ended up in line of cars from time to time, which was okay... Made it up and over the Welland Canal, the Skyway and down number six highway with little trouble (there was a line of cars behind a salt truck and a transport near the exit to the 401, but that was okay) I had JB's music to keep me company though :o)....
Then I got on the 401, and it was ocmpletely snow covered, but the inside lane was more clear than the others, so I moved cover hoping to pick up some speed (it was after 1am by then). But it wasn't very far to where I had to get off, so I looked behind me to make sure no one was close to me (there were some cars and a transport a little ways back, but nothing too close). As soon as I went to move over my car slid, and I panicked and hit the brakes... Which only made me slide more... I slid so badly that I ended up facing the other way (by then the transport and the cars were A LOT closer).... I finally got the car to stop, no cars were really close (the transport went past me somehow)... So I reversed to right the car, got back into gear and was back going in the right direction.... I have no idea how I did that, but I made it home, in one piece, not hurt, no one else hurt, and my car completely fine.
I got home just after 2am and my mom was waiting up for me... She'd only gotten home from the hospital at midnight... She had to have 3 pints of blood, and I couldn't be with her... I almost thought she called me when I was still in Buffalo, because my phone (which I thought I had turned off) went off, but the id said it was someone from California calling?? Anyway, she was okay, and I told her the story of my day...
Got to see Catherine Tate on the Sunday Night Project... That was truly hilarious... I don't always watch, because sometimes I don't really care for the guests, but I love Catherine :o)
Haven't done a lot this week though...Went to work, which has been kind of boring. Went to a funeral today... A neighbour on the street died, when he was shovelling snow on Sunday...
Still haven't watched JB on Keys to the Castle, even though I have had it downloaded since Monday...
I think I'm going to watch Private Practice tonight too... Haven't done that in a while, but Joel Grey is supposed to be a guest star...
That and I like Jason Orange's voice on Wooden Boat... He's a little wobbly, but he has good tone...
