Film Festival in Toronto
So, my film screened last night and I've been flooded with phone calls and emails from Indigo's family. 2 aunts, 2 uncles, and her sister and brother in law all attended. Ofcourse they all had nice things to say because they wouldn't say otherwise, but they were such nice things that they said that I almost believe them. :)
Also, I just got an email from a distribution company that wants to pick up my short and screen it internationally. They also want to see some other films of mine and I think I am going to send them "Stories Like Mine" which is my sexual assault piece. I am feeling really overwhelmed by all the attention.
But...this definitely makes my day a little brighter and, let me tell you, my days have not been so bright lately.
