So, me being bored and all, I'm on Yahoo News and this is (seriously!) the link that caught my eye:
http://food.yahoo.com/blog/editorspicks/2430/10-tips-for-the-greatest-grilled-cheese Now, I'm thinking, seriously?? You really have to tell me *how* to make a grilled cheese sandwich? You've got to be kidding me. Has the world seriously run out of pertinent news stories that they'd have to resort to this? Now, let me say, I'm ALL for new recipes, but grilled cheese?? I'll move on... but, seriously?
Again, moving on.
So, I have my *mid* year review at work tomorrow... I've been with this company for about a year and a half (so, needless to say, I've been through this before), but I really have no idea what to expect or what I need to do to prepare. Let me just say that, yes, there is a template I'm supposed to use, but it's really geared toward higher level people and I process telecom invoices for godssakes... maybe a Level 2 Engineer if I *really* stretch it. I've done what I can and already asked my "team lead" for a follow up meeting next week. It was funny because, when I asked her for the extra meeting, she came back with, oh I forgot you were an English major... knowing fully well that it has to be worded just so. And I didn't even have to ask about that and she knew!
Um, so I've realized that the two men in my life not responding to texts or phone calls is actually starting to kill my buzz. It's not easy being so laid back... but for some reason, I can't shake it. And, according to my mom, I shouldn't let it go! Ah well. What are you gonna do? ;-)
It seems as though I'm an old lady trapped in a 23 year old's body... I'm watching a Diagnosis Murder rerun I must have seen 12 times... he he. This old mare needs to go make dinner (cuz there's no one ELSE to do it!)
