i've been a bit remiss in updating my reading list. obviously i've finished Quirkology. but i've also managed to get through :59 Seconds and before it was released in the US. I much prefer going with a shorter reading list. a book a month is a bit much for me to get through and i feel much better about reading eight books when i planned to read six than reading eight when twelve were planned.
I'm off of work this week between christmas and new years so hopefully i'll get a jump start on next years list. i think i'll "cheat" and make a separate list for that list.
i liked and enjoyed :59 Seconds more than Quirkology. Quirkology left me wanting a bit more...something. that fact that i was too lazy to look up the references may have had something to do with that, but reading publications of studies can often be tedious for me. after visiting his web site and hearing him interviewed on podcasts especially the few times he's been on the SGU i trust him, but just to be on the safe side and because i’m interested i’ll look up and read some of the cited works.
