Why is it not Friday today?
I miss my three day weeks. Can I have them back please? *sigh*
Chicagoland is under a winter storm watch. This means we will get anywhere from naught to 80 inches of snow, depending on which news agency you listen to. It also means that everyone and their mothers will be panicking about how much snow we might get.
Maybe I'm just bitter because it's -87 outside and even if there is a yeti attack in downtown Chicago tomorrow, I still have to go to work as long as one form of transportation is working.
BUT, in HAPPINESS news. . . I got to have a wonderful lunch with the COG today, which was a rare treat. He was downtown working on something and took me to lunch at one of the nicer places I never get to down here. It's hard to beat steak and asparagus for lunch. :-D
BUSY today. Trying to get show stuff done and then my real work on top of that. I don't know if I told you guys or not, but I'm assistant directing/stage managing Arsenic and Old Lace, which is seriously one of the funniest things ever written. If you've never seen the Carey Grant movie, I highly recommend it. I can't get through a rehearsal without cracking up at least once.
