from Jules1278. . .

1. A Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. My user name on the Quill, where we met, was (and is) Frankie Beeblebrox. I'm a huge fan of the series and have been since HS. I think I even revived the Douglas Adams thread a couple of times over there. :-)

2. that dadblamed wish with a twist thread LOL You know something. . . that was one of the first places I went and looked through yesterday when the boards came back up. I LOVED that game, even when I got into a granting war with MFF. For those who are unfamiliar, you make a wish (I wish I won the lottery) and then the next poster grants your wish with a twist (Granted. But the lottery you win is styled after Shirley Jackson's short story. In the immortal words of Bob Dylan, 'everybody must get stoned'.) and then add another wish onto the end of your granting. This went for. . . quite a while, and got really, really elaborate. jfk;ahjgkf;

3. self-assuredness Really? *blush* thank you! I don't really think I am, but I can fake my way through it with aplomb.

4. hot pockets k;sdjhgkdjfg;a

5. compassion Now that I have in abundance. Something we share, I believe! *hugs*

And from beshter

1) Lumos Where we actually met! And we got our pictures plastered all over the Las Vegas newspaper! LOL That bathroom. . . the SHOWER, OMB, was amazing. Like on that Kohler commercial where the tech is using the new shower he installed. I had SUCH a good time there. :-)

2) Theatre Duh. Read my journal? Probably seen something about theatre.

3) Sugar Quill How have I missed thee? Let me count the ways. . . look on my Flist and you'll see a whole BUNCH of reasons I love the Quill.

4) Chicago Is still one fo the most amazing cities on the planet. I came here for a week in HS (we were looking at the Monet exhibit for a Future Problem Solving group I was in) and I fell in love. Moved here right after I finished college.

5) Cooking LOVE. I'm trying ot get better at it, but I am a much better baker than I am a chef. I can follow recipes well, but cooking on the fly is more difficult for me. Food Network is an addiction though.
