My heart pounds inside my chest.
Moving quickly to my throat.
Squeezing up to my mouth.
I can feel it against my teeth,
Forcing its way onto the floor.
My hands convulse violently
Taking over my whole body.
My arms, my legs, my feet.
I cannot control it.
I cannot even stand.
What am I to do?
I would give it all up for you.

Last night, I saw the moon,
Big and bright.
Staring at me. Screaming your name.
I thought of nothing.
