New found motivation...

I enjoy going to my history and systems class. This lady is a complete nutcase, but she's an awesome motivator. I have officially decided that I am going to graduate school. I have also officially decided that for my PSY583 project on behavior modification, I am going to work on my studying skills... and hope to graduate with a 3.8. This old man at Jons was talking to me yesterday, and he gave me a typical old man shpeal about how "the only thing they can't take away from you is your education." I like when life drops random hints of advice at you, especially when it's from complete strangers who don't even know your name. I'm going to shift my attention from boys to books. I like books a lot better anyways.

Random side note. A kid in my class is named Neil Harris. I asked him if his middle name was Patrick and he didn't find me funny.

Anyways, I'm going to play a little game created by the beautiful, the intelligent, Ms. Nikki Waskie... it's called wish-list.

I wish that Jodi and I could go get coffee and cheesecake at lil chef and smoke cigarettes, do homework, and bitch and complain for a few hours.

I wish that I would get a phone call from a particular someone, that would hint at the slightest ounce of compassion for my well-being, and maybe even ensure me that I still exist in this particular someone's mind... just a little bit... just enough to call and say hello.

I wish that everyone lived on my block. Nikki. Erin Curtis. Ana. Paulie. Debs. Seesters. Aaron. My mom. My sisters. Lil' Ellie. My grandma. Come on. Lansing Street's not all that bad.

Oh, and I wish that the knowledge from my books would magically appear into my brain.

Oh, and I wish that my house was warmer. And that this nasty cough would go away.

Tonight, Im going downtown again. The jury is still out about Chicago this weekend. Otherwise, I'll probably head back to G.R. to get some much needed sleep, much needed studying done, and much needed time with Ms. Erin Curtis and her beautiful baby girl.
