List of amazing things...
1. K-Rock spent all weekend with me and we did absolutely nothing. We layed around. We slept. We ate every 5 minutes. We watched Game Show Network. Occasionally, we took pictures of Shareef and Ooongawa with a case of beer or taking shots of bacardi. But for the most part, we did nothing.
2. I have acquired the work ethics of an 8 year old. I quit Big Boy, without calling.. I feel pretty awful. I feel pretty liberated.
3. My new job requires me to learn a lot. I'm excited to have a job that feels important. I feel like I have more meaning than bringing people their hot tea and taking back their steaks when their not done enough.
4. Hung out with Jodi this weekend like old times. At one point she rode her bike half way across town with Josie. We sat on the front porch of 911 main. We talked about Mary J. She said "I feel as good as a pinwheel." The usual crazy incoherent sentence. She slept in my bed. Saw K-Rock naked. All in all, an excellent night.
5. Josie is now 21. Another person to go to the bar with. As if we didn't got to the bar together already.
6. Lindsay Ross knows Ashley Shafer, I think they are even cousins. Small world.
7. School starts soon. I'm excited.
8. and of MOST IMPORTANCE.... the Sweet Onion closed down yesterday. It's done. I was part of the last generation to work there. Hell yes.
