cock tale
Inspired by my bottle of New Amsterdam gin and my memory of the gin version of a screwdriver (called, much less masculinely, an "orange blossom"¹), i decided i wanted to create a drink called an "orange rind" with available ingredients. So, in a small rocks glass:
1.5 oz gin
1 oz triple sec²
rocks of ice
splish-splash of orange bitters
squeeze of lemon juice
squeeze of lime juice
My first go at this was in a 2 oz. shot glass with no ice and smaller portions of the 1st 2 ingredients.
i guess a slice of orange would be expected as a garnish, but i don't have any oranges now or ever, really.
