*In these novels most of the queer elements are ambiguous (largely due to the period in which they were written) or end up being suppressed/ignored by the characters themselves.
**It's actually a great novel if you can tolerate/ignore Heinlein's author tracts of which he is so fond.
***Just stop reading it for anything halfway decent after The Tale Of The Body Thief, the rest is only worth it for the porn. It's been a few years for me, however, so it may actually be bad.
****I've not yet read past Wicked, the first novel, but I've heard very good things about this series even though part of me wants to shake the author for being so serious.
