DCCCLXXI. Forty-Five and Counting
And my attempts at an update follow:
I'll be married in a month and a half. Samantha and I have found a place to move into right after our honeymoon ends: a nice gated community that will be a little closer to our friends in Lewisville, and we're looking forward to moving there. In prep, trying to pack up things we know we won't need until after we move, that way the movers can just get the big stuff from the get-go.
I was hoping that we could move into a house (especially due to the fact that it seems like we could get one for a steal these days), but that will have to wait until maybe next year. At the very least, then we'll have an idea of where Samantha has her job.
Wedding planning is going well. It's pretty much down to the details now, and we all know how fun those can be.
Been at my "new" (guess it's no longer new now, is it) job for 6 months. Couldn't have imagined it going any better, it's been awesome and looks like it will continue to be so.
Everyone hates the gas prices and the ripple effect it's having on everything else, but I actually see a beneficial side to it, even if it's off in the distance. Maybe now there will finally be incentives to find something (other then that clusterfark "Ethanol") else to power our cars.
All in all though, I'm doing well. I hope the same for all of you.
