Finn's actually starting to salivate as he starts smelling chocolate, but it's not really the same scent as when Kurt had baked brownies for him for Father's Day--man, Kurt baked for him a lot, and that is still just as awesome as ever--it's richer, kind of a darker smell if that makes any sense. Either way, it smells amazing.

So much so that when Kurt nudges his way back into the room, Finn's already sitting up, returning that grin. He's aware that Kurt's poking fun at him with that tease, but he's kind of too busy staring at the little cakes to make much of it; he does, however, wrap an arm around Kurt's waist and tug him back down to his side, grinning broadly, and being careful not to knock the tray over or anything. "Dude, this is awesome," he says, pressing a brief kiss into the smaller boy's hair (what, he's feeling affectionate!) before reaching out and grabbing one of the cups. Which, thankfully, is not burning-hot anymore. (It's arguable that he might not have noticed if it was, though.) The spoon follows.

"You're gonna have one too, right?" Finn asks, as if suddenly remembering that eating all of them himself might be kind of rude. And he grins again, looking back to the tray and noting the flat box there with a nod of his head. "Hey, you didn't have to get me anything, you know. You've done a ton already."

His own gift, he'll still wait a bit on. Maybe after they're done with the cakes and movies and stuff--or whenever the moment seems right, right? He's...pretty sure that Kurt's going to like it; he hopes so anyhow, it might be kind of cheesy, but it had sounded good at the time, so...rather than second-guess himself (or more like fifteenth-guess himself, at this point), he's just going to roll with it. I mean, everything else has been going so well so far, there's no reason to think it won't keep going awesomely.
