LJ is not blocked at work? Whuuuuuuuuut?
So with my FB being blocked now I have returned to LJ, at least partially. Every other miniscule blog in the world is blocked except LJ. It makes no sense!
I have a lot on my mind and I think another writing splurge will be the happy result. I see all the revolution going on in the world and watch with bitter sweet anticipation. Its like when you finally reach the year 2000 or so in Civilization and all the countries in the world realize the game is almost over and make their final moves all at once. Despite our power and prestige and the might of the NATO allies all rolled in one, I wonder with earnest hope as to how we're going to offer aid to all these new political bodies that the people have demanded and how many will remain genuine to their creators' patriotic peak of humanism.
And yes, France is learning from history. They are leading the way in stepping on to that scary threshold from comfortable game theory in to doing what is right and charging in head-long, being the first country in the world to recognize Eastern Libya's fledgling interm government as the actual leader of that country. I am not saying our President is behind the times, I'm sure he has a lot on his plate, but our congress can't even make up their minds about how much money we should or shouldn't be spending while the world burns.
And with all this going on what am I losing sleep over? I seem to be at a point where I have set up project after project and though none of them could be called failure at this point they are always in progress. I have books to read and write, websites that need polishing, castles that need building and letters that should have been written long ago. Perhaps the inkarnation of these words to print will aid my realization that something in my life is dwindling away my motivations and the pushing the hour hand at the minute's pace. It may be that I am too drawn in to the random moments in life until they are like a river of quantum overload from which no order has emerged from the entropy. Perhaps it is time this Lent to hit the switch on the cable box and set reminder fox to 30 minute intervals whenever I sit down to read the news.
I think so. I think it is time to make is so.
