Frank Dufek is dead. Call me, The Punisher

you'll see why I kick so much ass later. In my p.s. statement. In fact what I did>>>>spiting J-Trov and his family

One thing I kind of love about summer is how you completely lose track of time and days and weeks. I had no idea, until I was rudely reminded a few days ago, that the 4th of July is next effing week. I always think of the 4th as a halfway point for summer; but, it still doesn't even feel like summer to me & I have no idea why. I've been doing all the summer types of things (hanging with friends, going to the pool, hunting squirrel naked, etc.) and I still don't really have that summer feeling. (I'm starting to <3 how inarticulate LJ is making me sound)

Could it be the fact that Evelyn Shirk, a big old bitch, reduced our summer by more or less 2 weeks? Could it be that after week two of tennis camp I have to start working? I honestly have no clue. Maybe it's just the fact that I'm not 9 years old anymore, and I can't really have fun like I used to. I remember when I used to just be able to go to a friend's house for 3 days straight and do the most random shit to have fun. Like wading through the huron river for hours, crawling through drain pipes, or just riding bikes to Whole Foods and making the apple pyramids collapse. I guess those things become less fun as you get older, and you realize they are simply what they are, and you've got better things to do. Now if you asked people to do these things, they'd be all "OMIGOD drain PIPEZ suck!!!1 LOLZ letz go 2 top uh da PARK!!....wading through a river sober? OMG whaaaat?!?!!1"......the apple thing might still be funny, though. (ecspecially when it was the fat lady w/ a mustache who cleaned it up)

I realize I'm still young as hell, but it was pretty damn fun being an asshole with no consequence/conscience in those tender, supple, & innocent days of childhood.

p.s. my dad was digging to set up some janky little 3 inch fence yesterday, and he dug right through our cable line like the world's biggest n00b, so I spent a good hour ductaping the wires back together this morning and I fixed that shit up. It's amazing what will power you can get when you're pissed at Comcast (aka we only employ the most stereotypical and incomprehensible Indian customer service. ever.) for making you waint until THURSDAY to send repair men/women. gotta keep things PC ; )

Tennis camp starts tonight 5-8, then every day mon-wed from 8am-8pm. It'll be fun though. The not-tennis part of it, anyways.
