The lo-down
So right now I'm quite ill, which sucks, but I will still update you all on the awesome things going on!
Stefan and I are all moved and more or less settled in at this point. We still have a couple boxes to unpack, but we're doing it slow and lazily because we're bums haha. The apartment is super sweet, the kitten is adjusted and adorable and Stefan is wonderful.
On the job front- I got a job as a Pastry Chef a couple months ago and I'm kicking ass and taking names at it. I'm now also in charge of the cold station and am getting a $20/day raise. I predict that I'll be Sous Chef in about 2 months. I've already been told by my Chef, Avaughn, who thinks I'm awesome that I'll be getting another raise in a few months when I have more responsibilities. Supa-cool! I also took a sample of soup in to him today [I went all the way to work, gave him the soup and he saw how ill I was and sent me home], but I told him what was in it and he seemed impressed so I look forward to hearing about it tomorrow and hopefully it'll make it onto the menu in fall!
Beer Fest was this past Sunday, it was fun except I think that's why I got sick [raining]. Right now I have a certain kitten laying on my keyboard looking for affection so I'm going to end this now. Pictures of the new place shortly!
