It’s quite simple to write entries in the LJ mobile app!
The entry consists of slides (pages or screens, call it whatever you like) in the mobile editor. One slide is either a paragraph of text or one picture/video.
The first slide is the title of your entry. You can add and edit it anytime you want. Actually, it’s not necessary to have it, but we recommend having one anyway :) When you're done editing, click on the checkmark in the upper right corner.
Adding a title
We have a title, now we start adding the text. To do this, click on the PLUS button on the right and select the TEXT button. If each new slide has a single paragraph, it’s easier to deal with the text.
When you’re done with the paragraph, click on the checkmark in the upper right corner. If you want to go back and edit it, just click on the slide you want to change. To add a new paragraph, click on the PLUS button.
You can easily swap slides as well. To do this, click on a slide and drag it to the side you want with your finger. If you want to create a new slide between two slides you’ve already have, just scroll to the slide after which you want to add a new one and press the PLUS button.
Slide editing
If you want to delete a slide, just swipe it up! You can undo it either :)
Text can be edited too - it can be bold, italic, strikethrough. You also can create lists and add links To do this you need to select a part of the text. The text editing menu will appear at the bottom above the keyboard. Select the option you need. Pressing it again cancels it.
Editing text
If you want to mention the user in your entry, add the @ sign and start typing the username you want. For example,
frank_mobile.
Mentioning the user in the entry
Once the entry is written and ready to be published, click on the PUBLISH button.
You can select the community you want to publish the post to, the date you want, and the privacy level. You can also add or select tags here.
Adding tags to a post
The cut function will be added automatically after the second or third paragraph. It depends on the number of characters in paragraphs and the presence of pictures.
We hope you are enjoying our app. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
