Problems again, plus Legacy update

Jan 11, 2010 08:33

*siiiigh* Well, once again, I am having problems with the Augh file. I haven't tried any fixes yet, so I'm not sure if it's salvagable at this point (I hope so *crosses fingers*). In any case, this is a short update, and I don't know when the next one will be. =(

We begin this update with lovely Celeste looking positively lovely.
Celeste: Wut?

Great grampa-ing skills there, Frank. Although it seems like the TV babysits the kids in this house quite a bit. No no, children. Don't stimulate your minds with activities like drawing, blocks, or books. TV will teach you and love you.

Roger: *cautiously* Oh Dad, I just love your cooking. Thank you for making such wonderful food for me and my family.

Frank: Fuck your family! I can't stand that snotty little brat of yours!
Roger: Awwwwww!! Why won't you love me, Daddy!?

Well, apparently his other toddler is not much better.
Adam: Waaaah! I don't wanna be in the chair!

Frank: Hello there, Celeste! You look very nice today. (+)
Celeste: Why thank you, Frank! (+)
Roger: Stupid Dad. I try and I try...
Roger, hon, maybe you shouldn't rage with a baby in your arms.

I moved both Frank and Celeste away from the high chair so Roger could put his kid in it, and it looks like they were sent to stand in the corner for being bad. XD

Adam: Hi gwampa!
Frank: What am I supposed to do with this thing?

While it's nice to have so many people to take care of the kiddos, I'm having to play interference to make sure that the kids don't get fat overstuffed.

Roger: *gushes about his little jellyfish*
Sarah: Jewwyfish!
I don't know what it is about 'jellyfish', but it really seems to be a term of endearment with my Sims.

Frank: *swoops in and scoops up Haylie*
Avery: But I wanted the baby!

Frank: Can you believe that fat bitch? Always sitting around either watching TV or writing on the computer.
You know, even though she is all the way down at the other end of the room, she is still IN THE ROOM.

Avery: Here you go, Sarah. Num num! Eat up!

Sarah: No! *pushes food off high chair*
Avery: Ooo, I can bathe the baby now!
Maid: Hey there, hot stuff.
Roger: Uhhh... Oh look at... the wall...!

Wow, I'm not sure how exactly she did that, but in just pushing her food off her chair, she managed to create a biohazard, complete with flies and everything.

I decided to let Roger run free go out on the town for a bit since he's now unemployed and probably going stir crazy.

So what does he do? He sits down with his computer and plays chess by himself.

Adam: Ugh, my nails are disgusting. *cries*

Me: *prays for positive interactions*

It's time for Adam's birthday!
Frank: Is that the same cake from Roger's childhood birthday? Bwahahaha!

Adam: *sparkles* Yeah, baby!

Since Adam is now a child, he'll need something more than just the play table to keep himself entertained.
Adam: Yes! Toys!
Clearly, he approves.

Celeste: *works on novel*
Adam: Mooooom! I can't hear myself think! Type quieter, sheeesh!

That night, Robin came by for a visit! Celeste doesn't look too happy about her sister-in-law, though.

Robin: Hi Celeste, how are you?
Celeste: Who are you again?

Frank: You know that gray haired woman? She sucks.
Roger: God, I need a vacation.

OH GOD THE CUTE!! IT BURNS!!!!

Adam is such a good big brother. I hope they stay friends as they get older.

I think all Frank does these days is criticize his entire family. No one is immune, not even the little babies.

Celeste: Frank, I really think you need a better outlet for your frustrations. Have you tried internet porn?
Frank: Oooh, I haven't thought of that. Thanks for the suggestion. (+)(+)

Roger: *in kitchen* Omg, I hear mom playing the guitar!
Avery: *playing guitar in bedroom*

*phone rings*
Avery: Hello?
Voice on phone: Hello, is this Mrs. Augh?
Avery: Yes this is.
Voice: Hi, Mrs. Augh, this is Bryan from the bistro, and I was wondering if you'd like the opportunity to help us out.
Avery: What? No! I don't need any of your aluminum siding or long distance coverage or any crap like that. How did you get this number!?
Voice: I'm not selling you anything. I just wanted to now if you're available to help us out with something we need. We'll pay you well for your service, plus, it's a great way for you to--
Avery: I DON'T CARE! I'M NOT LISTSENING!
Voice: Ma'am? I just was hoping--
Avery: LALALALALALA~!!
Voice: *click*

Frank: Oh honey, that was hot. I loved the way you yelled at that guy.
Avery: Oooo! Hehehe, oh Frank.
Roger: Ohhhh.... hey, is that the... school bus? Time for me to... school...

And sadly, that is pretty much it for the Aughs, unless I can find a cure for my problem. I hope that it's just a WA issue and can be fixed with a future patch. I checked, and I don't even have a backup file for them. *sigh*
