Now that Roger and Celeste are married, and she has moved into the household, it was time to get her made over. Her everyday clothes were fine, so all I did was change her hair and her other outfits. Look how pretty she is! Plz to be haffin purdee behbbeez nao.
Frank decided to make fun of Robin. Good thing she's thinking about moving out, since that's about all that she has to look forward to.
Frank: Hahahahaha durrrrrrrr! This is you! Durrrr!
Robin: *huffs*
Robin: You're such a jerk! What is wrong with you!?
Frank: *ignores* *cleans ears*
Robin: Well... I guess now that Roger's wife has moved in, we'll be moving out.
Frank: Pfscht. You'll be moving out. I get to stay here.
Robin: (--)
Frank: (--)
Aww, that's cold, Frank. Don't you care that your little Robin is leaving the nest?
Well, looks like it's that time, kids. I had Jordan get on the phone to move them out. He took his sisters with them to a small home that I built for them. They all have to move together too, because unlike S2, you don't just leave and automatically get your own $20K to start your new life out with. This dang house cleaned out most of the Augh savings!
I mean, uhh... Bye, kids. I'll miss you.
And so, Sierra unceremoniously hauled them all off in some crappy rental. No borrowing Dad's car. No pink limo. Not even a cab.
And here they are at their glorious new house. They each get their own rooms with their own double beds, but there's only one bathroom and a common kitchen/living room. I hope they don't end up killing each other.
And they stood there. I kept watching to see if they'd either disappear into the house, or at least move around.
Roger: So, honey. What do yu want to do?
Celeste: *reeeeaaalllly ponders her cartoons*
Did I mention that Celeste is a couch potato? All she ever wants to do is watch TV.
Although I did catch her sitting really pretty like this. I didn't even know this was possible. And I'm the dork who had to take a picture of it. But hey, I think Celeste is pretty. ^^
Celeste: Oh hey, the bed isn't too bad either. I could be a bed potato.
Roger: So--so how was your day?
Celeste: Good. Good. How was yours?
Roger: Good. Yeah, no. It was also good. How was your d-- uh... How are you?
Celeste: I'm good.
Roger: That's good.
Roger: ...
Celeste: ...
Roger: So... you wanna.... do... stuff?
Celeste: Sure. Yeah, we can do stuff.
Stuff liiiiiike... get the next generation started?
*jinglejingle*
Me: YES! First try! Good job there, Roger. Not bad for a newb. XD
Roger: That was kinda fun.
Celeste: *hums to herself*
Celeste: Hey Mom, guess what? I'm totally pregnant.
Avery: Wh--what? Is that really how you start a conversation?
Me: Way to break the ice, Celeste.
Celeste: Yeah, you're gunna be a grandma.
Avery: Oh. Oh! Uh, okay then. (+)
Roger then sat down between them and proceeded to ignore them both.
Celeste: Well, if Roger doesn't want to talk to me, maybe I'll go talk to his dad.
Avery: *has issues with herself*
Meanwhile, I went to go check on the other kids. And while they still seem to be stuck, at least someone has eaten.
Celeste: Hurk!
Yay! Generation 3 is making itself known!
Oh! Oh! Guess what! It's Frank's birthday!
Avery: Roger! Get out of the damn chair and celebrate your dad's birthday! *blasts with horn*
Everyone came to celebrate.
Roger and Avery even had a nice little synchronized celebration moment.
Until they were rudely interrupted by someone at the door, who was thoroughly ignored.
A couple final adult Frank pics.
Because he is now an Elder! He looks so unhappy about it, though! =(
I have to admit I was a little shocked to see him as an elder. He still looks the same, yet totally different.
Avery: Wait... who is this old man? Where did my husband go?
Frank: It's my birthday!
Frank: Where's that trashy wife of yours?
I would say that senility is getting to him, but he's always been that way.
Roger: Isn't it great? Now that I'm married, Celeste and I can start having a family and--
Frank: Woah, woah, WOAH! I don't want to hear that from you!
Roger: What? But, Dad! We want to have kids right away so you and Mom can be grandparents!
Frank: There'll be no fornicatin' and NO BABIES.
Awwww, poor Roger.
But clearly Frank is okay with a little gossip.
I decided to get everyone working on their skills. Roger went out to garden so he could move up in the Science career path.
I sent Celeste to the computer to practice her writing so she could achieve her LTW of becoming a professional author.
And I've been trying to get Avery's logic skill maxed out for like forever now. She looks about as frustrated with it as I am.
Celeste was interrupted by a pop that really seemed to confuse her.
Me: *sneaks down the block* *peeks in the back door* Well, it looks like Aspen and Sierra are at least out of the house. I made sure to get Sierra employed in the pro sports field, since that is her LTW. I have no idea if she'll actually be able to achieve it on her own. Wow, that sounds really bad...
Celeste: Honey, you know we're gunna have a baby, right?
Roger: Wh--what? We ARE!? OHMYGOD!!
Roger: That's cool. Congratulations and junk.
Roger: Woooooow... So like... There's a baby in there? Is... is that because we did that one thing with the...
Celeste: Yup.
Roger: And then with the...
Celeste: Uh huh.
Roger: And then I...
Celeste: Right.
Roger: Wow. So that's what happens when I get really happy?
Celeste: Hee, aww, you're so sweet.
I think Roger just got his first "birds and the bees" lesson right there. XD
I'm still having Frank work his way up the culinary career path. I think he looks adorable in his little white chef's hat and his white hair and checking on the stove.
Frank didn't want to hear his son talk about having kids, but got excited when Celeste told him she was pregnant.
Celeste: You shouldn't be so hard on your son, Frank. He really is a good guy, and I know that he loves you.
Frank: Yeah, I know. He's a good kid. He just got on my nerves one day, and I thought I'd roll with it.
Roger: Maybe I'll just have my wife talk to Dad from now on.
Celeste: I sure do wish I had a ring on my finger.
So I probably should take her back to CAS and give her a ring, but apparently WA has some wierd bug that makes your Sims get younger every time you send them to change their appearance, which means that Celeste is now a lot younger than Roger.
Frank: C'mon, fattie! Push! Push! You're so fat, fattie!
Celeste: But I'm not fat, I'm pregnant!
Part of Roger's LTW is to max the Charisma skill, but in order to do so, he needs to have a certain number of friends, so I made him get on the phone and befriend his siblings. He started out by talking to Aspen about his promotion.
Roger: But you can't tell the teddy bears! If the teddy bears find out, they're gunna storm the science facility and wipe us all out!
Frank makes an adorable old man! He looks so happy to be shuffling his way to a platter full of cookies.
He may be an elder now, but he's still the same Frank.
And to prove my point, he started insulting Roger to Avery. She did not appreciate it.
Looks like someone isn't gunna get his old man luvins tonight.
Avery insults him back, but in a much more diplomatic way.
Diplomatic: Being able to tell someone to go to hell, but making them happy to be on their way.
I realized that while she has mostly been happy during her pregnancy, she really hasn't been pampered, so I decided to let Celeste go to the spa. She didn't think that Avery would mind if she borrowed her car.
Some time passed, and before I knew it, it was baby time! Look how excited Roger is!
Roger: Honey? Do you really think it was a good idea to take Dad's car? He might get mad, especially if you get baby goo all over it.
Outside the hospital, this French tourist just stood there, freaking out for a good long while.
It's a boy! Meet Adam Augh (named after Adam Levine. I had some Maroon 5 playing at the time.) I forget all his stats cuz I'm such a good Sims player. XD
At least two out of three of them look happy. Poor Roger looks a little bit worried.
They made it back home in time for Aver's birthday!
The rest of the family seem to be concerned that Frank is apparently losing his eyesight, as he has no idea where Avery is standing.
And we have Elder Avery! She's adorable. =D
Can't keep that uterus empty for long! I'd like to have as many heir choices as possible. And so far Roger is 2 for 2! =D
I hope Adam enjoys starving, because he's going to have to get used to it, having been born into this family.
Roger: Hey Dad. Would you watch Adam for a little while for me?
Frank: *hums*
Roger: Dad?
I forget what exactly Roger was trying to do, but Frank certainly did a good job of ignoring him.
Frank: AAAAAAAHHHHH I'M OLD!!
