WOW I actually have time for an entry.
So my life lately has been busy and hectic with barely any time to breath. I have a feeling that not all sports teams are run this hectically but the Bombers are and it sucks soooo much ass. i spend more time at work then i do at home. although this week was a little better last week was pure hell.
we had to stay late everyday but Monday night because of manditory activities or just getting the arena ready. we had chamber events, meet the players, and other crap where we couldnt sneak out as early as the players could. friday i was at work for just about 12 solid hours, but i was one of the lucky ones. i left at 8:30ish and because i had previous plans for Kelsey's Birthday i didnt have to come back at 11 to help put up the dasherboards, which they were doing until 1:30-2ish, they were still here when the team returned from the game in Toledo. Then Saturday i was back here at 10am after going to the club with the girls. and i didnt leave the beavercreek area until 1am, but was wroking until 11pm, we went to Cadillac Jack's after the game for drinks. and saturday was pure hell. for about 2 hours i was the only one in the office to take will call phone orders and the phone was ringing off the hook. i wasnt even able to change into my nice clothes until almost 5 and i had to be in the willcall box by 545. it was fun. funny part of the night was after the game i was walking out to my car with kara through the loading dock and i was bitching because i left hte need to and my voice was echoing through the loading dock, there was a player walking in front of us and one off to the side talking and they were looking at us and kindof laughing but the kicker of it all was i was bitching about my boss and as i reach my car he drives out of the parking lot. dont know if he actually heard anything or not it was rather funny. even funnier part of the night was erin got shitfaced within 45 minutes because she was doing shots of yager with miller, bad mistake. apparently after i left it got a little worse for her, but the stories are hilarious.
this weekly slowed down greatly for me cause i dont really have any game day responsibilities except for will call so i pretty much sat around the office dealing with the broken credit card machines, which were a pain in my ass. i was suppost to have the day off yesterday, so i stayed the night at jackie's thursday and drank and played beerpong, but i ended up coming in anyway for a good portion of the day basically because i got a call at 10 saying they couldnt get the credit card machine to work but all i had to do was unplug it and plug it back in and it magically started working again.
last night i hung out with schuler. we did dinner, shopping and a movie. both got our fill at Uno's, wasted some time and spent money we shouldnt have at target and kohl's and then went to see Elizabethtown cause the other movies started to late for us old people.
and now this morning i am currently manning the phones in the office by myself because no one is in yet. and i have no other plans for the day except getting to bed kindof early cause i have to return to work by 10am for our 2pm game tomorrow. so much fun.
highlight of the week was Jack, the Box Office Manager, was really nice and let us reserve Brad Paisley Tickets before they went on sale to the public today. erin got one, tiff got 2 and i reserved 6. i wasnt planning on it but ann and ron wanted to go, ron's friend johnny wanted to go and then jackie and candice wanted to go and plus me so yeah i need 6 but they should be KICKASS SEATS! so excited.
