Ok so I finished Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince last night at like 11:30. I do believe I have set a record for myself. I finished a 652 page book in 5 days. I could have finished it sooner had I not had to work during the day or helped ann coach softball two nights this week. But hey everyone should be impressed cause I am normally a very slow reader, this book should have taken me about 2 or 3 weeks to read.
I am so excited about finishing the book but I have no one to really to talk to about it (a) B is on her cruise and I dont know if she has finished it yet, but more than likely she has, (b) I dont know who all is reading it in the Dayton area, asn (c) Jenny is in Prov and just as busy as I am. so if you are in the area and finished and want to discuss it let me know.
And Now for my rant about the book. It will be a little obscure as to not completely ruin it for those who read it and havent finished the book yet.
I can believe he died. I can but dont completely want to believe that he was really on their side. I can't believe he was the Half-Blood Prince. I soo wanted him to die of blood loss, sorry Jenny. I can't believe that they aren't going to return. I can't believe they split up, but there is definite hope for a reunion once the asshole is dead. And why the hell arent the other two together yet? There was plenty of insinuations throughout the book especially the last damn chapter. And else totally feel for the she's falling for a weasley bit? I am unfortunately guilty.
I will admit there were quite a few lines in there that may end up as aways. including the one about the Ministry and gum disease.
Oh and for those who dont know Jenny and dont read her LJ we do totally figured out the initials bit. I was completely stumped as to who R.A.B. could be, but Jenny had a hunch from the get go. and then i went with her hunch and did some research and if the site i found did in fact have the right middle name. R.A.B. is Regulus Anaes Black, none other than Sirius Black's younger Death Eater dead brother. as Jenny says We SO OWN this book and JK Rowling.
