"You never forget your first Hummer."
And I must agree with Schweter. this weekend was a blast.
I'll recap my week prior to starting with Wednesday, seeing that I have already updated my week through then. so wednesday night was more volleyball at Cloud with Jackie and the boys. we played until it was extremely hard to see the ball, which means the park was technically already closed. then it was to BW3s again for more beer and darts with the boys and B and Jackie.
now thursday started the weekend. B and I stayed the night at Jackie's. although jackie and I almost didnt stay awake for B to get there. friday morning we were gonna try and leave kindof early but we didnt even make it to K-mart til noon. then we had to wait on Jackie's prescription. and before hitting the road we hit up Timmy's for coffee. then it was on the road to Pittsburgh. we made it there around 6. We got there and invaded Kev's apartment. but what was great was my welcoming by Kev.
"What the hell are you doing here? I thought you were in Salt Lake City and not coming?!"
so funny. kev thought B had said Franny not Sammy when she told him about Sammy's new job. so kev and gone and told everyone that I was in Utah, he even told his mom. fun stuff.
then we all get ready and we go to the Lounge for dinner and meet up with Kev's friends. a little before 9:30 our ride for the night arrived, a white stretch Hummer that can fit about 30 for the 17 of us. we first hit up the Boardwalk, got in free and spent most of our time drinking and dancing at Tequilla Willie's. B and Tracey enjoyed dancing with two gay guys, Jackie got her first drink bought for her by a history teacher and at some point all the girls in the group were dancing on the bar, kev got up there for a minute before they kicked him off. then we headed to Matrix, where we got in free and we arrived just in time for $.50 drinks til midnight. There was more dancing on the bar, lots of dancing in the 80's room, and some drunk dialing and texting. and i know Em and Laura enjoyed my texts, I was only a little tipsy. lots of beer, sprite and absolute lemon, mixed drinks and even a few shots of tequilla consumed by all. then it was back to kev's to hang out. i was tired and was probably the first in bed, in Kev's bed of course along with him and B.
so saturday i was the first up and moving. i had showered, tried to wake people up so we could eat, watch a two hour movie before there was actual movement towards getting food and being awake. we ended up hanging by the pool for most of the day. I have got to say that Kev's apartment complex has the best pool rules ever cause we had beer and food in the pool. Tom and Jeff didnt even bother getting out of the pool to eat their pizza, hamburgers and hot dogs, cause yes we were all eating that variety of food. we found out that whatever type of plate we had floats in the water. that evening after everyone got cleaned up and napped during Empire Records, we headed to the South Shore, i think, for food and to hit a bar or two before hitting up a club. we had dinner at some brothers place which was pretty good. then we went to this bar Jack's for a few drinks. then we headed to another place to hit up H2O a club that was having a $.50 drink special. yeah the drinks sucked, the average age seemed to be about 30 something and on top of that they had a $5 covercharge. after that flop we went back to the apartment to play beer pong. Tracey and I did pretty good, well at least our second game. i had never actually played before and during the second game i ended up hitting 3 cups. but i got tired and took over kev's bed. at some point Steven jumped on me, gave me a kiss on the cheek and said goodbye. and that is all i remember.
this morning no one even moved until after 11, which meant we were not gonna leave around 12 like planned, but whatev. we hit up denny's, all of us a little hungover or whatever from last night. and then we had to say goodbye. it was fun for my first time in pitt. can't wait to go back.
EXCITING NEWS. it isnt definite yet but my boss has mentioned more than once about the possibility of keeping me on after my externship is over. so this would mean I would live at home, but get a car and get to hang out with people at home more before the planned big move to the West Coast.
