About BTVS season 8...
I am not reading the Btvs season 8 comics...I was against them from the beginning, I hate them, because I believe that when a show is over, it is over (like it happens 99,9% of the times). I don't agree with moving it to a different medium...I was satisfied with the way they wrapped up Btvs: Chosen may not have been perfect, but for me it was a great ending. It came full circle, it closed a chapter on Buffy's life, setting her up for a brighter, more hopeful future. There was no need to go there again... I also liked how they left Buffy's ships of doom... Spuffy and Bangel shippers were both given something, they were treated equally, and everyone could imagine what they wanted from there on.
Now, I have read something that really upset me, I'm gutted! :(
I've read on a thread on BF that apparently Joss has confirmed that Buffy feels more about Angel than Spike, so now people are understandably cutting Spike off the race for who will end up with Buffy in the end. I mean, I'm not totally naive... I always suspected that (bitch). But up until the end, they carefully avoided to take a position. Joss and co cowardly didn't take a position at the end of the show... why do it now, and upset half of the fandom? I feel cheated... I really hate that they didn't leave the show alone! :(
Is it true? When and where did Joss say that?
