(no subject)
Happy Thanksgiving Y'all!
So night, supposedly we're having a -real- thanksgiving dinner at the institute with all our host families and lots of fun and all that... but I don' know... apparently some of the traditional thanksgiving food doesn't exist here... like cranberries... or pumpkin pie... uh yeah... so we'll just have to see... A french-ified tg dinner... perhaps it shall be good.
Woke up this morning at 5:30 because I had a nightmare. In my dream Jon and I were nearly killed by the "dandy serial killer". Dandy... as in the literary/artistic movement from the 19th and 20th centuries. I think Jon put it best--"So Oscar Wilde came at us weilding a bouquet?" I got up (after working up enough courage to turn on the light and get out of the safty of my bed) and called Jon. 1 because I wanted to make sure he hadn't been killed by the dandy serial killer and 2 because I knew he was having a party for his 18th birthday with all his little friends. It was fabulous! I got to talk to Shayla and Jon and Jon and Jason... and it made my thanksgiving happy :)
Yay for Jon's friends... I can't wait to get back to GFE

PS--Love my Icon--me and JoNathan (jonny ponny, the lil bro) goofing around over the summer... actually I think it was the firs tday I got back from school... must be early in the summer cuz my hair still looks orange.
