From yesterday onward, almost all French people will eat the same traditional cake.
It's called "Galette des Rois" (Rois Mages= the three Wise Men); it's a big, round, golden cake (obviously meant to figure the rising sun and probably of prehistoric origin), suffed with a thick almond or apple cream. It may be eaten during the whole month of January (or even later) and you can find it absolutely everywhere.
I don't like it so much, actually, but I'll eat it religiously nonetheless because I am a staunchly traditional person (the most antique the tradition, the better).
