LOOOOONG day. Took a long time to get motivated and moving today. Was awake before dawn, but didn't get to work until 9. I wish I was more of a morning person... mornings are challenging. Then as I was leaving after 6 my boss comes in after the computer's off and needs research on one sponsor's files... some internal numbers... which it turns out they don't have yet or won't ever. Missed my bus, so didn't get to the gym until after 7, finished around 8, ran to stores for grocery stuff (FF 1/2&1/2 for my oatmeal, salmon from Costco), home late... SO TIRED. Did get 45 minutes on the eliptical; ate ... poorly. Neeeeeed sleeeeeeep. :-) To sleep, perhaps to dream beautiful dreams of green/gold eyes. ;-)

But... first I need that shower.... and I've clean sheets on the bed so that'll feel fabulous... comforting. Just love the feel of freshly shaved legs on freshly cleaned sheets.

Oh, hey, Jm wanted 7 random facts about me... no I'm not a tagger, so I'm ignoring the first part of all that. You want tagging, I want to know... just no obligation. I LOVE these fun facts about people. They always have a surprise in them.

1) I don't usually enjoy chain mail... anything that threatens me up front is not good in my book.

2) I love Disney tunes and singing along to them, even when I can't remember the words.

3) I love having my feet rubbed... my cousin Kitty says it's the next best thing to sex... of course she said it to embarass me at my sister's wedding reception, but ... well, my eyes were glazed over at the time from the foot rub. She kinda had a point and she was kinda inebriated.

4) I am not fond of disposals... they make me nervous... my Mom ground up too many spoons when I was young in them and for the longest time I could NOT put flatware down in a sink with one in it.

5) I am stunned that one dose of snake antivenom costs $12,000. I consider most of the cost of medical care obscene, and shudder at the thought of no health insurance.

6) I joined Costco when I moved to Durham because I like to buy TP in bulk. If I don't, I always seem to run out. If I buy bulk, then when it gets low... it's memorable and I don't. Sigh... the mind games I have to play to have a memory.

7) I took my first ever bobbin lace class at a University in Chapel Hill in 1993, not even knowing what bobbin lace was... thought I'd do it 1/2 the day (it was being taught as an all day thing) and wound up staying until they had to pack up the tables... Graffin Judith was sitting right next to me. It was my second ever event and I still think she's da bomb and so is bobbin lace. :-)
