Glee 1x10 - Ballads
(this is how I feel right now after watching Glee)
O... M... G! OMG! I'm in love with this episode. I want to marry it and have its babies.
Okay. Seriously, who did NOT love this episode? It had so many SQUUUEEE-worthy plotlines! First of all, I wasn't the slightest suprised Kurt has a big gay crush on Finn. I don't know if they've been hinting at it before, but I just knew it. I love how he was set on Finn switching teams. He's so adorable. If I ever have a son, I want him to be like Kurt. I hope that they don't just stop here with the whole Kurt/Finn thing, I would like to know what happens next.
When they were drawing names from that hat, I LOLED and SQUEED so much when Santana got Brittany's name and was all YAY! HEEHEHEHEHEHE. Fanfic, anyone? And that WIll/Rachel song number, omg made of AWESOME! The voice overs were gold, I wish they did V/O's on everyone. I would have loved to hear Arties thoughts there at the end when he looked utterly disgusted.
I totally knew Quinn was gonna get thrown out! Okay so it wasn't hard to figure out, but it still felt good to be all "OMG I KNEW IT I KNEW IT!". Also, way to go Quinn's asshole parents! Have a little heart for crying out loud. I myself come from a catholic family and while my parents are very liberal, the rest of the family ain't so much. I have at least 5 cousins who've had children at a young age, before getting married, and none of them got thrown out or disowned. And one of them has a father that is a friggin deacon. So I dunno, I understand that it's a very useful plot device, but you'd think Quinn's parents would have some kind of feelings in there in their hearts. I mean, come on! How can you not feel sorry for Quinn after that speach?
The whole Susie(sp?) Pepper thing was just hilarious. I know I must be insane, but now I have a crush on her. She's cute? I dunno.
What else? Hm. Oh yeah, Mercedes speach to Puck, I was actually cheering her on. Not that I ship Finn/Quinn, but I for some reason agree with Mercedes that Puck needs to back off. Cause what Quinn needs right now is to be pampered by Rachel's gay dads. Seriously.
But the bestest moment in the whole episode was when the Gleeks sang Lean On Me to Finn and Quinn. 1) Because it was cute and it's nice to see they all care for each other 2) Because my prayers have been answered. I have a spotify playlist of songs I would like to see on Glee and Lean On Me was number 1. SERIOUSLY! I ain't kidding! I had NO idea they were gonna do this number and when I heard the piano intro I was like *OMG DIEZ*. I love this song. I even had it on a Rachel/Quinn fanmix before I had to cut some songs and this song unfortunately didn't really fit the theme. Anyway. I'm tres happy.
If you haven't heard Bill Withers sing this song... OMG DO IT!

Gah. Can't wait for next week! In the in between time, I'll indulge in some fan fiction writing. There was so much slashtastic inspiration this week!
