Hi!
A lot of this is copied pretty verbatim from last year; my tastes haven't changed!
I can't wait to see what you write. Here are my requests and a little about each of them, though please, write the story of your heart. You like the same fandoms and characters as me, but that doesn't mean we have to like them the same way!
Things I love in general: Gen adventure stories. Casefic. Exhaustion and whump. Characters who genuinely care about each other. Competent people being competent at the things they're competent at.
Things I prefer not to read: Noncon; stories in which people are embarrassed; porn. (If you write that, you write that - just warn me ahead of time, please?)

Hawkeye (Clint Barton)
I love this comic so much. I love that it showcases the ordinary people around Hawkeye a lot; that he's not the Big Flashy Guy, even if he kind of wishes he was, so he takes care of the little things, like making sure a dog doesn't die or making sure good people don't lose their homes. He's a landlord who drives out with his tenant to take care of his tenant's dad, for crying out loud. I can't even get my landlord to fix the sink.
For this particular fandom, I'm into casefic, adventure, derring-do, Hawkeye's apartment-building-residents (especially Simone and the little Simones!). Outsider POV is fun, if that's something you're into. Do they worry about him? I would, he's a walking disaster. Hurt/comfort is fun.
Mass Effect (Kaidan Alenko, Garrus Vakarian)
Here's what I wrote in my signup for this year:
I'm a backstory junkie, I admit. What happened to Kaidan after he joined the military but before he met Shepard? Did they treat him as a weapon or a soldier, or both? Did he and Garrus meet previously on the Citadel? Did Garrus have law-enforcement adventures? Was he a good cop?
And here's what I wrote last year, which still holds true: Kaidan and Garrus are my buds. (Okay, Kaidan's my Shepard's boyfriend, but they'd hang out anyway). I'd love fic about what they did between ME1 and ME2, or during any of the games, or after. They both care deeply about this stupidly noble idiot who seems to think it's her job to save the entire galaxy, which would be crazy if it wasn't true. That's got to put stress on them. How do they deal?
(In case it wasn't clear, I don't need both characters! Either or both is fine.)
Vorkosigan Saga (Ivan Vorpatril, Byerly Vorrutyer)
Oh, man, Ivan. I love how competent he is, despite all appearances to the contrary. I love how trouble finds him even when he's doing his best to just keep his head down. I love how all he really wants is just some peace and quiet, but everyone he knows keeps getting into trouble, and he loves them too much to just leave them to it. Does Ivan save the world with spreadsheets? Who knows?
Byerly. Byerly probably knows. I bet Ivan's exasperated by this.
Aaand that's it. Thank you, writer. I love these worlds, and I love these people. Can't wait to see what you do with 'em.
