That all sounds so stressful, bb. I hope you feel better soon. Get some rest - kick up and listen to some music or lie back and take an afternoon nap, or a nice warm shower? *pets* Performing can really take a lot out of a person, especially when you're as emotionally affected as you are. Nevertheless, I'm sure your performance was wonderful.
I'm trying to find some time to rest properly and do your advices.
Haha, yes, performing can take a lot out of a person indeed. I don't know if I should say that I'm lucky or not that my voice coaches weren't there. Thanks to them can't attend our practices without work, I can pick to sing the main melody. Yet thanks to them not there, it's not as great as always. However, the smiles that our choir get for a while, before some of the audience seemed to get bored erased all of the negative emotions :3
Oh, I know what you mean! :) That's sort of how I feel when performing in front of my family - doing it for people I know feels all the more nerve-wracking because they actually know me, whereas performing in front of strangers doesn't make me quite as nervous. The part where your audience got bored -- I guess it's just a matter of song choice. Will you be performing again soon?
Good luck then! Though I know you'll do fine enough to not need luck. ;) Be sure to take care of yourself and your voice, too. Try not to drink as much cold beverages and get plenty of rest.
Hahah, I hope so, I got a tricky melody part for one of the songs for 3rd March performance, but I'll try to do my best.
Sleep seems easy enough to do; but then my friends will kill me because I haven't done my part of work X9 I'll need to discipline myself for not drinking cold beverages though, it's always tempting along with oily and spicy foods >_<
I used to hear that sweet things weren't good for people preparing for a grueling performance but I went ahead and took three cups of hot chocolate before showtime once, and the results were... well, they actually weren't so bad. So spicy food, I can vouch for since I have friends who are fine with it before performances. However, oily food and cold drinks are a no-no.
Oh, is that so? My throat doesn't team up well with chocolate, it tends to make my throat sore; but it's the first time I hear about sweet things being bad for performance.
Thank you for the tips and the cheering, hun ♥ ♥ ♥

Yes, I think it's a matter of song choice, ...and song length maybe. I'll be performing again at 3rd March and maybe on 24th March. Wish me luck~~
Suddenly want to hug you so... *huggles* ♥
