(no subject)
I'm actually going to post this tomorrow since it's raining heavily with thunders near my house now and the internet connection is so sloooow. But I got lucky and the rain and thunders gradually lessened, and my internet connection starts to be bearable. Anyway, I got quite a nice rest yesterday and today. When I got the time, I checked my desktop and found that it actually worked fine \o/ Doing work in laptop is okay, but I'm more comfortable with my desktop not to mention that it's hooked to better speaker.
I did Natsume Yuujinchou marathon yesterday, but only halfway since I haven't downloaded the rest. For those who doesn't know the series, it's an anime series about a boy named Natsume who could see spirits and wasn't very liked by the people around him because of that. He made his ability secret after he was handed to his new relatives. However, in his new hometown, he was suddenly constantly chased by demons and ghosts because he had 'Book of Friends'. He was then informed by a demon (who he called Nyanko-sensei later) that he had accidentally released that it was something that was made by Reiko Natsume, his grandma, who had great spiritual powers. It contained names that when used, can control demons to do whatever the bearer wants. Natsume then vowed that he would return all the names in the 'Book of Friends' to the respective demons.
It's a very lovable series for me. I love Natsume's musings about demons and humans, and their relationships. I'm also touched by Natsume's loneliness, and how he had gradually get over it. I really really loved it, Natsume Yuujinchou made my heart felt peaceful and I dunno, it made me felt more grateful with what I have, especially in regards to my social relationships. I'm looking forward to download and watched the rest ♥

Merlin
What can I say? This series is my current obsession. The series is like Smallville in King Arthur's style, where Merlin have the same age with the Prince Arthur, future king of Albion. The series had lovable, great, and adorkable cast (my favorite are Bradley James, who plays Arthur and Colin Morgan, who plays Merlin though I loved all of the main casts); had humorous and some lovely scenes with beautiful play of lights and darkness; great fandom with LOADS of great, epic fics; and yeah well, slash subtexts well some people think that it's not subtle at all. Merlin and Arthur is like newlyweds sometimes XD. There are some major weaknesses in the show, like plot holes, confusing character developments, and some anachronisms--but it's very VERY addicting for me.

I've met kasumicc because of slashy_lady. She's my best friend in rl though we've only been in one class together for more or less three months, and she's the one who introduce me with: livejournal, yaoi, and fanfictions among other things. In other words, I can blame her for making me love yaoi and getting addicted to lj and fanfics. She's also one of my rl friends (if not the only one) who regularly maintain contact with me (mostly with ramblings), and she's one of my best friends who still stays more or less the same even after she had plunged into the work world. Though sometimes I wonder why I'm friends with her (especially when she's in an uncontrollable crazy/narcissistic state and/or in bullier!mode), she's a nice friend.

Handwriting
This is also a part of the post that marks the early friendship of kasumicc and I. Also had did some handwriting stuff in lj twice, here and here People somehow liked my handwriting, especially my rl friends because they wanted to copy my notes, and they said that I'm quite neat in writing it. I actually got distracted from time to time and copy my other friend's notes, but oh well, I'm not going to question my friends judgment X9
Music
Music is a part of my life--I don't know what I'll do if I can't hear music for three days straight. I have low tolerance to caffeine, and music is the one who help me woke up in the morning. Music is also a great company when I'm stuck in traffic jam, though it sometimes distract me when I'm driving X9 Plus, it always helps me when I feel down, emo, or stressed; it always perk me up when I'm doing some menial, boring tasks; it gives me happiness when I found great music; and it's a universal language :D In terms of music skills, I'm a mediocre singer and an unskillful amateur pianist.

Industrial/Organizational Psychology
Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or I/O Psychology, is my current major. I used to aim on going to Educational Psychology, but after learning about it in my undergrad program, I found it to be too idealistic for me. In the mean time, I got hooked by I/O Psychology after I took a Work Counseling seminar, and organizational issues are even more dynamic. My friends got worried for me, because they think that my sensitive heart couldn't take the harsh world of I/O Psychology. I myself is afraid of that too, but my decision is cemented after I think about how unappealing the other majors are.
Junjou Romantica
JR is one of my yaoi fandom that I truly loved. It's hilarious, sappy but sweet, and it made me feel. Even more in love with the anime because of the color, the seiyuus, the music, and the great imaging of the men/boys being adorkable XDD

To tell you the truth, seeing Guy interaction with Luke is one of the main reason why I'm so keen in playing TotA XDD Well, I fell in love with the game instantly after I saw Guy visiting Luke's room like Romeo and Juliet an illicit lover, lol. They're cute even if their bond is no more than brothers X3
Singing
Singing is one of the thing that make me happy. It's also my indicator for imminent sore throat XD I quite like my voice tone, though my technique needs more polishing. I currently join my faculty choir and do bathroom and car concert (most of the time only when I'm alone) to fulfill my singing needs. My vocal range is mezzo soprano, though my friends sometimes thought that I'm better singing for soprano part *shrug*. Actually, I think my vocal range is moody, so I myself don't really know my actual range.
Speaking of music, I'm planning to do the promised Yoko Kanno music recommendation soon :3 For now, I'm going to let my body rest for my choir/vocal group performance tomorrow. Wish me luck!
