I don't teach on Wednesday afternoons, which means I should be catching up to all kinds of work. Note my use of the word "should" -- it means I'm not doing it right now!

Today I am thankful for

1. My brain. It's put me through a lot, but it didn't mean it, and on the whole, it's been a very good brain to me.

2. Trees. Trees are such, such wonderful beings.
