I just met with my adviser for about 3 hours. We talked about everything.
She said that my first chapter is "brilliant."
She even wrote it across the top of the first page.
SQUEEEEEEEEE!!!
In other news, still catching up to lj -- sorry for lateness in commenting and replying to comments. Real life has been great, but a little bit like the way that dim sum is great -- you're stuffing yourself and eying the thousand carts going by and pouring tea and having a conversation all at once, the entire time.
Back to life, then.
