many fine things
in addition to the acquiring of new sparkly material possessions, my life has been bearing many other sweet fruits as well. much pleasure. winter session is over, spring semester has begun! i am enjoying computer animation and learning to animate using my tablet and flash. in my sound class, i am making a blend of sounds with the theme of orgasm or culmination using recordings of sex as well as other comparable processes i.e. water boiling, splitting ripe pomegranate, etc. my film class is a challenge but i think i'll pull it off--that's all that matters--then i'll never have to think about live action again! and my blake and hogarth class is actually holding my interest, which is rare for a liberal arts (history) class, due to the raunchy nature of the material. a lot of hogarth's prints are about harlots and bawds and criminals and other fun things that i am interested in!
i'm still seeing this boy of mine; it's been over a month now (albeit a turbulent month) and we have plans to spend the first 5 days of spring break together. i'm flying to arizona with him (where he lives) march 21st where i plan to stay with my aunt or grandparents for the first few days before i go with him to tucson to stay with him at his friends' place. but don't worry fellas i'm coming to chicago from tucson on the 26th and will be home till the 30th. as for the boy; he's a good one, his name is kyle. if things go according to plan, ya'll will be hearing a lot more of him in the future.
my friends and i managed to consume 60 jell-o shots last thursday before we went to a fang island show. an impressive feat, the shots contained in total 32 fl. oz. of vodka, which were consumed completely by myself, yoon, and her friends cat and nick mostly (caroline, kyle, and a few of his friends showed up late and finished the last few for us when we were already wasted). caroline, having missed most of the pre-gaming, took 6 straight shots to catch-up, then bought another drink at the show (i also caught her taking swigs from someone's handle at the show). she regretted it the next morning...she got wayyy too drunk and ended up acting a fool! this is really hilarious because my precious roommate caroline is usually quite reserved and sweet... but at the show she was being WILD. she refused to sit and insisted on dancing...which meant i was in charge of keeping her on her feet. kyle and i literally had to carry her home and tuck her in. she had a ball though, and i was thoroughly entertained.
i am still trying to figure out my housing for next year. i was at least certain that i would be rooming with yoon...but now i'm not so sure. i think she's upset with me--she hasn't been responding to me lately. i think she's upset because i can be very oblivious and thus unintentionally apathetic to peoples' problems, of which she has many. i hope she realizes that this is just me being silly and that it doesn't mean i don't care. she sorta just flipped on me on saturday...i'm having trouble gauging how she feels because it was all an online conversation. ughhh.
