Yeah, well... the entries that I make that are more lively than others tend to be f-locked (because I bitch about my job or my father) and it doesn't read those.

I dunno.

I think it says a lot about you that's good. And adds to the 'pro writer' thing you have going.

It says the reader only needs to be at third grade level for mine... But most of my entries are friends locked so I don't feel too bad as my public entries are usually short and to the point or even quizzes :P

I'm not sure how I got 11th grade.

Someone I was chatting with found my LJ and was like "..your journal is scary."

Your 11th grade rating is probably because the test doesn't take into account the level of vocabulary (generally) used, just average word length and sentence length. It also can't read for grammar so if you do something like write a list and don't put periods after every point it probably thinks you wrote an impressive 200 word sentence or a couple of nice juicy 45 word sentences. Also, run-on sentences don't detract from your ranking :P I'm not saying you have a bad vocabulary or anything because you don't. I'm just pointing out the flaws of the ranking systems developed. After all, we are on our blogs for fun. They are not academic and we leave words like epistemology and other such long and unusual words at home in our essay drawer most of the time.
