I got a B on the Midterm, B+ on the Final, and B+ overall.
Here's what the professor e-mailed me concerning my 3-hour Final (which was 2 papers you had to write, one researched and one referring to the book and class notes. I BARELY HAD TIME TO THINK ABOUT ORGANIZATION THANKYOUVERYMUCH)
"You’re a unique soul who poses challenges to my judgment, Topher. Regardless of what I think, you’re obviously finding your way and will continue to do so. Cheers for your buoyant spirit. You had a good session in a number of ways-perfect attendance, perfect quiz scores.
Your writing is what presents the greatest challenge. Often it is potentially brilliant, but it has a difficult time getting its bearings or footings. Organization seems altogether secondary, with costs to your reader’s attention.
But credit to you for thinking. Your reader can’t always follow, but it seems you’re always up to something, with varying results. The research report works very well, as your indirect expression seems adapted to Albee’s coded methods. But the essay seems to be about everything at once, with no real definitions of terms or clarity of outcome."
--And then it goes on describing the essay and research reports in detail, but I think that's enough and it summarizes what he thinks of me.
But I think he did reveal something about me that is true. Theo said about me, "You're the king of non sequitur."
