Last night, as I was heading to bed, I had a grand mal seizure. When I first arrived back into conscious, I felt my dad using a washrag to let go stinging cold water on a cut above my right eye.

Then in the middle of the night, I awoke, and suddenly felt my stomach upset. I ran to my bathroom and vomited five times before washing my mouth out and heading back to bed. In the morning, I got a drink of water and it caused me to vomit twice more in the bathroom.

My dad came over, got me to drink some seven up and took me to the hospital emergency room on the advice of my neurologist, Dr. Ian Goldsmith. While waiting for the nurses and between nurses, he read me Medea. After a cat scan that showed nothing abnormal, I took something for pain with Gatorade and had five stitches put my right eye's cut.

When my dad drove me home, he warmed up some pizza with seven up and told me it was ok to eat the pizza now. After he left, I ate a little bit of it, as my stomach felt full no matter how little I've eaten all day. Twenty minutes later, I threw up in the nearest bathroom three times.

Now I still have to read 13 more pages of my Mythology book before 3pm tomorrow, so I should be OK about my homework, but I'll be doing a lot of sleep in between now and then. I think the seizure last night was caused by me missing a couple of medications in the past week and my nonstop reading schedule for my summer classes that's caused me to stay up so late so often.
