Decorations for Pride Festival Booth
As you know, Unity gay straight alliance student organization from UHCL will be representing the statewide Queer Student Alliance of Texas at Gay Pride Festival Houston. I have a table and two eager lesbians manning the booth.
Unity, since it will not be participating in the Pride Parade, needs to turn the theme, "Say it out loud" into a booth theme. So far we are going to have a stack of wooden speakers making into a telephone poll that you know, list your musical act with. Also, we're working on other booth decorations to attract festival goes to our academic oriented booth. Ideas are welcome.
If you have a band, e-mail me or deliver me your flyers to put on the pole and to hand out to people, and anything else for distribution. We will not be selling merchandise. If you're performing or just there for the festival, come by the QSAT booth.
I need to get a Blue October poster approved and printed for this.

That and the "telephone pole" isn't just for music acts. It's also for bumper stickers, little advertisements like things we'll be putting up saying how great being a member of UNITY at UHCL is...
If you want to have something on the speaker~telephone pole or anything at the booth, please let me know ASAP. It's a gay pride festival. It takes a LOT to stand out.
