http://www.rottentomatoes.com/news/comments/?entryid=328205 Basically, because of the end of one studios' ownership (bastardisation) of the liscense, the Blade Runner "Intended Cut" movie can be released first on DVD in September through December. Afterwards, it's being taken off the shelves. Then, Blade Runner: Final Cut will be shown in movie theaters in 2007 for a limited engagement to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the film's release. Afterwards, the film will be released from then on in a 25th anniversary package, including:
Blade Runner: 1982 Theater Version (AKA Happy Ending)
Blade Runner: International Version (huh? are there nude scenes of Rutger Hauer or something?)
Blade Runner: 1992 Director's Cut (AKA Sad Ending, Ridley Scott's 1st intended version)
Blade Runner: 2006 Final Cut (Ridley Scott's MORE intended version of the movie Harrison Ford said he still hates and "only did because he wanted cash"!)
