Tis a Sad Day For The Montour Family
So, Nessie, were going to have to put her to sleep either on Monday or Tuesday because we don't know if the vet is open for business on Monday, since it's Easter and all. I knew this would happen, I just didn't know it would happen so quickly. This is all because we bought her from a pet shop and she probably didn't have good nutrition as a puppy and it shows now because she's only 5 years old and she is like an old lady with osteoporosis and arthritis.
Nessie is apart of our family and now its time for her to go. :( She was a really great dog. We know its time to put her to sleep because she peed on her bed and she never ever does that. We know the reason is because her arthritis is really bad and it was too painful for her to go outside. Her quality of life is quickly going to detoriate and we don't want to see Nessie suffer.
I'm glad that we have Tippy. What's really cool is she got to pick up some of Nessie mannerisms and I'm really glad that we got Tippy when we did. My mom is talking to my cousin Belva telling her the news. Rita did not react well when she found out Nessie is not well. Rita loves Nessie so much, we all do. Ugh...
