Looking at Dog Breeds
Yep, you read that right. We're starting to think about what kind of dog we want to get. I figured we should start looking now because if we want a dog in the spring we should probably start interviewing breeders now. Most top breeders have wait lists for people who want to get puppies from them. I won't get a dog from a pet store because there are too many puppy mills that supply them.
I want a VERY Large breed... I'm thinking Irish Wolf Hound BIG... Great Dane BIG... you get the picture. Sierra was a Golden Retriever and, while she was a beautiful girl, she was a bit small. Yes I know, I'm crazy. I would most certainly settle for a medium sized dog like Sierra as well. But nothing small. If it can be punted.... then it's not a dog IMHO.

Have you ever had a dog? If so, what kind? With two young kids ages 4 and 5 1/2... what kinda dog do you think we should get?
