NCIS irritation

Okay, so I'm almost finished season 1 of NCIS.  Now I've never really watched the show before but I don't live in a bubble so I'm painfully aware of the fate that awaits our lovely Kate in the last episode of season 1

Actually it's not untill the end of season 2.
I don't know if I found their bantering annoying, but I definitely never saw any sexual or romantic tension between them. I know that there are a lot of 'Tate' shippers out there, though.
And I believe that the reason they killed her off, was because Sasha Alexander wanted to leave...

Well I do thank you very much for the info, it does offer a little more depth to my analysis. I agree with you though, there isn't much chemistry between the two. I'm not sure if the writers were trying to create sexual tension or not... guess it doesn't really matter cuz there isn't any.

I like the 'Kate' character though, it's just the way she interacts with Tony that I find irritating. I can't even imagine shipping these two... BUT, that's just me.

It gets a little better in season 2...I think. (It's been a while since I've seen it).

Oh, I liked Kate too. I actually stopped watching for a while after she died.
And I didn't, couldn't and wouldn't ever ship Kate/Tony... No chemistry there at all IMO. But then again, I was a Kibbs... ;)

Funny thing... I pick up on more chemistry between Gibbs and Abby... yes I know, HUGE age difference and totally not likely! But there you have it.
